If you have a stud finder and a drill, this is an easy installation. If not, I highly recommend pilot holes to ensure you mount this to a stud. All told, I used this to mount a 52" LCD and it has worked well. It is close to the wall but leaves just enough space so that HDMI or other connecting cords fit properly. Depending on TV size, there is some flexibility in lateral placement to help make sure everything is centered just right. As mentioned by many others, you will almost certainly want/need two people to lift the TV onto the mounted bracket. The best thing I can say about this product is that if I ever buy another flat panel, I will also buy one of these mounts. I know it is sturdy, stable, well-constructed, and simple.

Mount was heavy duty and easy to put up. Had some problems attaching to the back of my tv, but customer service was helpful for finding attachment sites on the back of my panasonic plasma. Love the locking bar in the back to deter theft.

Not only is it sturdy, I now have the ability to access the inputs and outputs located at the back of my television. I could not lift the television if I had to and now I can do my own hook ups without having to wait for someone to help me. This mount is a woman's equalizer. After you have the unit installled, if you have the knowledge but not the strength,you too, will have the freedom. I highly recommend this PDR Articulating Mount.

Easy to mount. My husband and I used this with our new 42" flat screen and had it on the wall in 45 minutes. Just make sure you find the studs. We live in an old house and had trouble finding them, so we ran out, bought a $10 stud finder from Wal-Mart and boom...project done. Highly recommend.
