Product Description The TLP810NET Surge Protector from Tripp Lite is a cost-effective way to protect valuable network computer equipment against surges. The TLP810NET has 8 AC outlets and a 10-ft. cord with a space-saving right-angle plug. The unit provides 2, 518 joules of surge energy absorption, enough to handle the strongest surges. Gold-plated coaxial "F" connectors protect equipment on satellite or cable/antenna lines used with WebTV, television, TV tuner cards and cable modems. Built-in RJ45 jacks provide complete protection for Ethernet cards connected to Local Area Networks or cable/DSL modems. Built-in RJ11 jacks prevent surges on up to two phone/fax/modem lines simultaneously. Diagnostic LEDs and an audible alarm alert the user to potential power problems.

good service, good product June 8, 2008 I researched this product, and found out it was perfect for my new plasma tv, new stereo system etc., "media center". The product was available and "shipped free", it arrived in plenty of time for "hooking up" and worked flawlessley. I received e-mails confirming the order and then confirming the shipping date. The service and products from amazon is refreshing and head and shoulders above, when compared to some other sites I had dealings with, I definetly will purchase from Amazon again.
Simple and efficient April 11, 2008 This product is great. It has plenty of sockets and I especially like the protective covering over them.
Solid well made Surge Protector March 7, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Tripp lite makes some of the best surge protectors. This one is as good as they get.
Appears to be good-quality product January 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Can't say much about a product like this until lightning strikes, but it does appear to be well-constructed; has a solid feel to it. Like many other people, I needed the room for transformer-equipped electronics, but they didn't seem to be available when I bought my first surge protectors. I bought this model and Tripp-Lite's next to top-of-the-line Home Theatre surge protector at the same time to replace older, lower-joule-rated models. Am happy with both at this time.
Phone, ethernet, and cable outlets are well-placed for me, but I might prefer the power cord exit in a different location, perhaps out of the bottom of the case, since I have both of my units wall mounted.
I did a few hours of research before I settled on these. Tripp-Lite seems to have the best overall price/quality ratings from users on other forums. Most others, with the possible exception of Belkin (which are not quite as asthetically pleasing) do not have the joule ratings of Tripp-Lite. Then there's Monster....totally overpriced for the protection you get.
Tripp Lite Rocks! July 16, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
....like I said, it rocks. I live in the lightening capital of the Earth (Florida) and these surge protectors are a necessity.
