I'm really bummed out - I spent a lot of time researching an affordable and decent sounding cd player and this seemed to be the one. I've had it roughly four months and it's up and died on me. I don't even think I got the cost use out of the stupid thing.

For the price I wasn't expecting much, but this little boombox has surprising quality. I bought it as a gift for my wife who listens to audio magazines we get on MP3 CD's each month. She loves it and is very happy for the deep, rich sound quality. This is our first MP3 CD player, but we are quite happy; both the price and quality are great!

the RCA Portable CD Player with MP3 Playback, RCD200 seems to be a great unit. I bought it to play back several hours of MP3 recordings for a family member in a nursing home. It works great. The only drawback is that each time it is shut off it returns to the beginning of the 12 hr CD, and sometimes it is hard to read the LCD because it is not back lit.

Decent, portable, inexpensive boombox. MP3 play is a plus. Sound quality is ok, not great.
