This combination has been used in some of the most advanced and expensive floorstanding speakers ever designed. The woofers have Neodymium magnets mounted in front to save the maximum amount of depth so this amazing speaker can fit in a standard 2x4 framed wall. Neodymium is by far the most costly magnet material used in driver design so much so that it is normally only used in the high frequency tweeter array on high-end speakers.The entire assembly features its own retrofittable extruded aluminum enclosure. This configuration allows the speakers to be placed in a number of different locations without special boxes fabricated into the walls.SpeakerCraft designed the Starlet Six to be bi-amplified and the ribbon and woofer array precisely matched to your room. So it is recommended you have a professional installer with the proper gear to do the install on your Starlets.
