Pleased with purchase July 31, 2010 janniesue I did a lot of online research and read many reviews before deciding on the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 and am very pleased with the product. I like the compact size, and the quality of the items scanned is exceptional. I highly recommend it.
Damn good little scanner May 28, 2010 Steve Donovan (Michigan, USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this scanner with it's big brother, the ScanSnapS1500. Both are excellent scanners although it is a little inconvenient to use these scanners with software that demands that a scanner be TWAIN compliant. A little workaround that is not too inconvenient and I use both scanners regularly.

Scanner for those who hate scanners May 21, 2010 C. Rothwell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this scanner. Even though I have a regular flatbed scanner with a larger doc feeder this is my go to scanner. You can feed the documents through, have them converted to PDF and OCRed in one operation. It is fast and easy. I have emptied a file drawer and two shelves of materials so far. I've scanned most of my photographs. It is portable and works off the laptop's battery if necessary. It's pricey but worth it. I have my own system so I never used the bundled Rack2 Folder software.
Excelent scanner but beware of Software included May 17, 2010 Luis C. Gonzalez-serva (Coral Gables, Florida United States) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
First of all, the Deluxe bundle could be temporal, and after 40 days, you may need to formally buy the program. Secondly, I bought this scanner because of his dual platform, PC and MAC, and it works excellent on both, but RackFiler included on the bundle, this archival program does not work on a MAC!. Despite this , it is a great product. Simply, do not buy the Deluxe bundle....
