Despite it's rediculously deminutive dimensions, the SRS-AX10 active speaker system is anything but deminutive when it comes to performance.
Don't get me wrong, the system sounds really, really small. Anything from the 400-500Hz range and below are barely audible at any sound level, and the maximum sound output level for this device is really really low. Given the size of its drivers (2.1 cm, that's less than 1 inch) and enclosures (they are about 1/4 the size of an average lemon each), it is needless to say that there is no way this device can sound any bigger than a pair of good headphones in open air.
Recommended if you are tight on space but don't mind a small sound, not recommended if you want a full bodied sound. SRS-Z510 would be a better choice.
