Fashioned out of metal, the NCC5 is thin enough to eliminate drywall bulge but also superior in strength to breakable plastic brackets. The interior cutout serves as a template for drywall installers. These brackets are adjustable for 16 to 24 inch ceiling joists and the wings of each bracket can be attached to studs or joists using staples, nails, or screws.
