Product Description Polk Audio RM6750 Black Six-piece 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System - Introducing a complete home-theater audio solution for people who crave true cinema excitement without breaking the bank.?the RM6750. The integrated Power Port Bass Vent designed right onto the back of the compact Satellite & Center Channel speakers-the same technology used in full-sized Polk Audio speakers-improves lower midrange response and all-important sub/sat blending, taking the RM6750 beyond the performance realm of any other sub/sat system in this price range. This integrated design reveals midrange with no ?hole? in the frequencies between the sats and the sub, for male vocals that are rich and full-not thin and weak like other sub/sat systems. The RM6750 comes with its own subwoofer module, an 8 inch long throw driver and high current power amplifier for real ground-shaking bass thrills. The Subwoofer features an 8-inch Long-Throw Dynamic Balance Poly Composite Driver with built-in Subwoofer amp (50 Watts Continuous Power) Dimensions - Fronts/Surrounds - 6-1/2 H x 4-1/16 W x 5 D, 2 lbs / Center - 4-5/16 H x 11-3/16 W x 5-13/16 D, 5.25 lbs / Subwoofer - 15-7/8 H x 11 W x 13-1/2 D, 28 lbs

Great Speaker System, Even Better then Bose August 30, 2008 What a Great system...
I bought this speaker system to accomidate my Onkyo Reciever and what a pure delight.
The speakers are nicley built, heavy and sound is crisp and clear. The susbwoofer has may features on the back panel all which can be controled manually or set on Auto.
Compared to Bose Audio,, this will smoke the Bose Cinimate with no comparison...Read my review I left on the Cinamate.
Great Product, wont be dispapppointed...
Great Audio for the price August 9, 2008 This is my first foray into "real" home audio systems. My last home-theater-in-a-box died a few weeks ago, and instead of buying another cheap all in one to replace it, I decided to upgrade to an actual switched receiver. These speakers sound very nice, the dialog is crisp, the surround sound is far superior to what I had before. The sub sounds fine to me (I'm not a fan of trunk rattling bass in cars either), but I can understand how others say it might sound flat.
POLK RM6750 August 4, 2008 These are great speakers for the money I am very impressed them. They are small, but if you set them up correctly and have a descent receiver you will be pleased also. By the way the room I have them in,is a 20x20 and they are pushed by an old sony str-de475 80watts per channel. Hope this helps.
Good for movies and TV August 3, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This compact surround system works great with my home theater set-up in a pretty small room, but you might be disappointed if you want to use it to listen to much in the way of music. There's just not enough "there" there, which leads this non-audiophile to say that there's probably not enough midrange.
Sorry, don't have any alternative suggestions as I am currently considering upgrade options myself. Leaning toward beefing up the fronts first. If there's still not enough window shattering going on, I'll move on to the sub, then the center and finally the surrounds. Again, movies and TV sound great with this system, so long as you're not watching a rock concert film.
Just amazing! July 27, 2008 Installed the Polk RM6750 speaker system with an Onkyo SR-605 receiver and Onkyo 704 DVD changer. Awesome results!!! Would recommend this system for a 14X24 room in which it sounds WONDERFUL!!!
