These speakers can handle a lot of power, but I think they lack power in the low frequencies, I wasn't expecting something equal to a subwoofer, but when I stand in front of them, the bass is just not there. In general, the sound is loud and clear, but not equally distributed on all frequencies, so if you want and expect a thumping bass, this one is not for you.

i just got this speakers yesterday(very fast delivery by the way)and as soon as i got them out the box i hooked these monsters to my amp and boy!! the sound fantastic!! very powerfull bass and clear highs, this speakers will sound very good if you use an equalizer, im running these speakers with a peavy 2000 watt amp. thank you amazon!!!

After the snafu of delivery. Lordy! That was an experience I won't repeat. They were simple to install and work great! The problem is my neighbors are getting them, too. They sound that good.

I bought these on a whim. They were packed very well. They arrived with a ding or two from shipping, but with something this heavy I expected that. They sound great. Great speakers for the price. Thank you Amazon

The sound quality and volume cant be beat but the reinforced corners get cracked when you move them around a lot... but that might be my fault :)
