Nice kit - no volume control January 28, 2008
This kit comes with a nice, long antenna wire, so you can place the end near a south facing window. The base is made of metal, which gives it enough weight to not tip over.
I bought this because I didn't need the integral speakers that come with other kits - just wanted something small I cound use with headphones. Problem is, there's no volume control on this unit. The ouputs are "line out", which assumes you're taking it as an input to something that does have a volume control. So, I need to get myself a set of headphones with a volume control. Otherwise, no complaints.
