| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description High performance and high quality are paramount with JVC's flagship receiver. The RX-DP10VBK uses zero-interference technology to ensure high quality. This technology uses separate block construction to eliminate any interference, dual heat sinks and separate transformers for analog and digital circuits - all incorporated to remove any interference within the receiver. This receiver also takes advantage of the use of a C.C. Converter and a 24-bit 192-kHz P.E.M. D.D. DA converter to reproduce any CD or DVD signal the way it was intended to be heard. The RX-DP10VBK also has multi-room-multi-source capabilities, which allow you to watch or listen to 2 different video or audio sources in 2 different rooms with the use of its IR RF remote control. Finally, this THX Ultra-certified receiver has THX surround EX Decoding built in with 7 independent amplifiers making this exceptional receiver the cream of the crop.

| Customer Reviews:
A serious competitor to say the least July 31, 2008 High End Wholesalers (Fort Wayne, Indiana USA) Powerful and refined. JVC certainly is no stranger to old-school tech advancements and wanted to remind people why JVC was always known for high fidelity with the DP10. This heavy receiver crushes any competitor in a non-hdmi setup in its high-consumer level price range. I would say that this is one of the top three receivers ever made in the pre-hdmi era. The DP10 was purchased as an easy to use unit for my daughter's room. All specs are conservative since the unit received measures 128W RMS from 18hz to 28khz with only 0.0186 THD (at worst) across the 7 channels via scope. Sound quality is much, much better than Denon, Onkyo, Pioneer E, Sony ES, and any other 'wannabe-upper-consumer ended' unit on the market. The RP10 is a great little all-in-one for those not interested in full blown separates for a simple home theater. You will not be disappointed with ease of use when the RP-DP10VBK is used with other JVC compulink components. The remote is not spectacular... but who still uses the factory remote that came with equipment anyway? The remote does, however, get things done. Your daughter can certainly claim she has the finest HT receiver than any of her other friends with a DP10, rest assured.
