piece of junk March 13, 2010 Michael S. Ives It is the most unfriendly interface I've ever used. I haven't even got to listening to music yet. I'm currently trying (the main word) too set-up a play list and it keeps glitching out on me. I'm about three seconds from sending it back and buying some other mp3 player. MAKE THAT I AM SENDING THIS PIECE OF JUNK BACK. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a decent mp3 player March 6, 2010 K. Grieger 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My zen micro photo just died on me last month and I needed a new mp3 player, I tried out the sansa product line... None of them can drive my headphones(sennheiser HD280's)loud enough to produce any bass(especially the sansa clip). I was rather dissappointed with all of them. I wanted something that JUST plays mp3s that has excellent soud quality an no touch screen. This is the only new mp3 player on the market that qualifies. I plugged it in, linux detected it, I copied my collection over and it plays just fine. The user interface is a little weird compared to the micro photo, and it tends to collect lent in the speaker cavity, otherwise a great player for walking around with headphones on all day. I haven't tried to use the video functionality, but the screen is so small i don't know why anybody would bother.
DO NOT BUY FOR SUBSCRIPTION MUSIC SERVICES March 3, 2010 J. Emery I purchased this to replace my lost Zen Mozaic I purchased last year. This "newer" version (Zen Mozaic EZ300) totally changes the way it is identified by the PC. They stripped out the MTP protocol and replaced it with MSC/UMS protocol. This means the device simply looks like a flash drive when plugged into the computer. It no longer supports DRM so subscription music services WILL NOT WORK with it.
I find this stripping out of the core functionality while labeling it a "newer" version to be very deceptive by Creative. It should absolutely state in the description that this version does not work like the version it replaced. Quite a shame, because the older version was the only one I could find with a built in speaker that worked with services like Rhapsody and Napster. To make matters worse, this version even includes a poorly worded advertisement for Napster (subscription music service) that is really only good for obtaining a handful of unprotected MP3 files.
Bottom line - do not buy this product if you intend to use it for subscription based music services.

This is the the best overall mp3 players I think. It has everything rolled into 1. FM radio, video player, photos, lite weight, easy to see screen and the battery life is awesome. The one thing I would suggest they do though and especially on the black one is to either make the toggle buttons lite up or make the symbols a different color. But once you get used to it there really is not an issue. I highly recommend this player.
Old guy, MP3 Virgin February 1, 2010 Joseph M. Kraher (Bensalem,PA) This is only my second MP3 Player. I'm 61 years old and I got my first one when I was 59!!! This is very simple to operate, etc. My only complaint is it's impossible for to read the buttons. Otherwise it's great, and the cost is really great.
