1 out of 5 stars It won,t talk to my computer   July 29, 2010

5 out of 5 stars Srsly 30 GB!   May 12, 2010

30 GB of storage, plays unprotected music files, accesses subscription music service via built in wi-fi, plays audible or loaded audiobooks, for less than $100? That's a no-brainer.

I really like my player. I've had no problems with it and use it almost daily. I have not yet tried the blue tooth feature (still saving for those expensive headphones!) and I don't watch videos. But for the music component, it is just perfect for me. I listen and listen to different kinds of music, different artists, different genres. I choose a few that I like and buy them somewhere (sometimes from Rhapsody, sometimes for Amazon) but always in MP3 format. That way I can listen to those purchased musics on any device, even "translate" them into iTunes if I want to. The reverse is not possible, though.

I listen to so much different kinds of music that to invest in a music library would eat me out of house and home. The subscription service is great for my listening lifestyle. Also, there's actually someone on the help-line when I call about an issue. If the subscription service does limit the number of devices that I can use with one subscription, I haven't run into that limit yet: Ibza player, PC, laptop all have the same Rhapsody account.

One of my favorite features is the Rhapsody channels, and this little gizmo with the huge memory can load, well, I've loaded 5 channels at once, more music to listen to than I can listen to in a week.

There's no need for me to play from the player through the computer, so this isn't a problem that I've run into. I just unplug the computer speakers from the computer and plug them into the player. Ditto for the car via cassette-translator.

Oh, and I didn't mention that it has an internet browser. It's clunky and slow, but it is there and totally useable for short references.

The video playback is unwatchable as is the photo viewer. The thing crashes when you sync with the crapware from Haier, if you have too many songs on the player's disk. The internet browser is almost non-functional except for all text sites. The only good thing about this is the big hard drive and music playback. This thing wishes it was an ipod touch but us really pretty pathetic.

4 out of 5 stars its cool   May 4, 2010

I like the Ibiza so far. The wireless feature in it is crap though. Do not buy this player for its internet capabilities. everything else works fine and dandy. The Rhapsody feature is really nice. When you first get the player you get a one month free trial period and then its 10 bucks a month if you still want it. Another thing i noticed is that the menus tend to lag or take a long time to go to another screen. Like when you change volume it takes the player a little while to actually do it. One more thing that annoyed me is that the battery bar on the bottom always keep changing. One minute it shows me it has one bar then the next minute i have three bars and then after that i have two bars. Other than that i really like this mp3 player because it does what it's supposed to.
Oh and the video feature from AOL is discontinued so you can't really stream videos anymore from online. You can still downlload videos and watch them.

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy!!! Research Problems first!   April 17, 2010

Mine and many others have the same problem. The battery dies down from normal use, it turns off and IT WILL NOT TURN BACK ON!! EVER! Charge it for days , weeks, hold down buttons, reset, reboot etc. I found hundreds of people on line with the same problem. None of the company's fixes do any good. Mine is 3 months old. They offer no support and are impossible to get a hold of. There are many online discussions about this problem. Don't take my word for it. Spend the $ on an iPod touch. It is Rhapsody compatible and it will work forever! My Nano has givin me years of flawless service! This is a piece of junk that even the company doesn't stand behind
