Excellent January 28, 2006 Linda Egdorf-myron (Elmont New York) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had this archos for two years. Went out and bought an Apple Ipod. No comparison, Archos may not look great but by far is much better than the IPOD. The Archos is easier to use and sounds better also. Who cares about looks when ease of use is more important and the sound is deeper and clearer than the Ipod. Ipod sounds flat in comparison. I gave my 20 gig Ipod to my daughter and went back to good old reliable Archos..

Hard Drive Died in 8 months April 23, 2005 ALG 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recieved the product as a graduation gift. After the first 3 months I noticed the product would stall for no reason (as computers sometimes do.) Then after 8 months the hard drive completely died on me. I called the company who said they would charge me $75 to fix it. Nice warranty! Save your money for something else. Now I have a heavy and expensive paperweight.
