It Works September 1, 2008 This device is easy to install and connect with my phone which is a blackberry it is easy to use, people that I talk to ask if I am in a cave which I am not, however I am in a 2001 4runner which does not have a blue tooth stereo So I do not use the feature that has the audio on the radios speakers. I think it is better than a headset. Unless you like the headset look.
BETTER THAN EXPECTED September 1, 2008 I installed this product in about two minutes and without reading the instructions, I was able to get it up and going. My wife tells me that she cannot tell whether I am using the T505 or talking directly into my cellphone. Transmitting into the FM radio is very easy and very effective.
Very good August 30, 2008 Works exactly as advertised. Great audio quality on both ends of calls. However, be aware that calls made through the radio will require constant frequency changes while driving since you will come in and go out of range of stations and available empty frequencies. Use the unit itself for calls if you are driving over long distances.
easy to use August 30, 2008 This is my second unit, i lost the first one. I enjoy this unit because it is easy to use and can be listen though the car speakers
Too Easy! August 30, 2008 I actually read the instructions before I set up the device but you really don't need to. The T505 paired immediately with a BlackBerry 8820 & LGVX9900. The internal speaker sounded loud & clear, and the quality of sound's been great through the car's stereo when the FM station's clear. People I've called hear me very clearly while I'm driving at freeway speeds with the A/C on. The unit's great at finding clear FM stations and I liked the voice announcements of the clearest FM station. The volume controls are conveniently located. Voice recognition worked well. Since the unit works so well I purchased a Sony TMR-BT8iP for my iPod & it works great with the T505. Of course I then have to use my earpiece with my cell phone. Mini-cons: Would have liked variable auto-off time, but unit is easy to turn back on; better to have all controls on front; no AC charger; need more visible power indicator.
