Panasonic good deal November 10, 2008 Hi Tech "Jim" (boston ma USA) The phones are quite good, range is good, sound is good, and they seem rugged for long time useage. In summary, a good quality phone, 6.0 technology, and reliability. Can be shopped for best price on the internet, found Amazon.com competitive source, beats retail stores.
Very Good Phone System November 5, 2008 Beverly N. Richards (Redford, MI) I am very happy with the Panasonic Expandable Phone System. It has excellent features an messages are easily retrieved right from the handset. I love the fact that the batteries are standard rechargeable AA's, that will not cost $18-$25, to replace. I purchased a whole new system to avoid the high cost of battery replacement for my old system.
Really like these phones November 3, 2008 Marie Miller (Loyalhanna, PA USA) I would recommend these phones...Does so much more than I thought it did. Sound it really clear and was suprised it also has an alarm and messages as to tell you "Good Morning" among other greetings....I'm really glad I purchased this phone and the price was great at Amazon......
What you do to one, you do to all phones October 27, 2008 D. Warner (canton) Like very thing, I added a phone (5) and it was really easy to do. Love the talking CID, Don"t have to put my glasses on to see CID.
Read the negative reviews!! October 25, 2008 Beth Daniels (Southeast USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
After reading all these reviews 3 months ago, I decided that we loved our old Panasonics so much that these would be as good. We only were upgrading because we needed 4 phones, not two. And what were the odds that we would get the demon phones that the other negative reviewers had? Turns out, those were pretty good odds! This product has been bad enough to turn us off Panasonic phones. Yes, they're *that* bad!! They do NOT hold a reasonable charge. When the phone rings, it's anyone's guess whether the phone will let you pick up! Even if it's fully charged and sitting on the base! Seriously! It rings half-heartedly, and then the screen flickers and goes blank. Then you hear another extension ringing across the house. As you take off running, suddenly the original phone rings again. Meanwhile, voicemail kicks in. Sigh! It got so bad that we made sure to have two of the available phones on our nightstand (job requires 24-hour contact). There were still times when NEITHER PHONE would answer, prompting the phone run-around at 2 am! Aaagh! The only "good" thing is that if you manage to answer the phone when it's flickered on, you will likely not be disconnected from your call. It has happened, but not usually. We gave up last weekend and bought another brand. I can't say whether they'll be any better. Well, yes I can. They ring.
