 Great replacement June 25, 2008
After considerable research, I bought this to replace an aging ATT multi-phone system -- to replace the proprietary batteries, which were failing, would have cost almost as much as this entire system -- and I couldn't be happier.
One of the reasons I bought it was because of the 1.9gHz DECT 6.0 electronics, guaranteed not to interfere with other wireless signals in my home.
I did have to move the base set away from my wireles router because it's RF knocked me offline every time I used the phone. Once I moved it off my hoime office desktop and subbed a handset in its place, all was well.
The only reason I've given it four stars rather than five is that I've not used it much yet. Bet that next star is just around the corner.

I have this phone system for only a few weeks now, but so far it works great. I like the phonebook feature where as the names and numbers are copied to all phones automatically. My old Panasonic didn't do this.I also like that the names come up on the caller id as they are entered in the phonebook.

Order arrived on time as stated and in very good packaging and condition. The box was bigger than expected but realized that it was filled with packing material. +points. The phones works great! I bought the phone based on just looking at its basic features and looks but it came with more than that. We love the voice caller ID especially when you can reach the phone in time to see the caller ID and to help identify tele-marketers. Extre features like alarm are great too. Range is good and the 4 handsets are also one of the main reasons I bought the phone. No more having to locate a phone near a phone outlet. I do not use its voicemail feature since I rely on my phone service's voicemail but it worked well too. Used it unintentionally when I did not set the voicemail up properly yet. So everything works great.

I am VERY satisfied with this product. The sound is very clear on all phones and is easy to use. I may get one more phone to complete having one in each major family area.
I really like the idea of using standard rechargeable batteries. Previous phones I have owned had high priced specialized batteries which I had to special order.
Good phone June 21, 2008
I bought the Panasonic 4 phone system to replace 2 older 2 phone systems so we could share a common directory. We also enjoy being able to check voice mails from any phone. The only minor surprise is when there is a voice message, the Panasonic flashes a light on the ansering maching and each phone. Our other phone had an audible alarm to indicate a message. This phone has lighted buttons, excellent sound quality and it easy to use. We are very pleased with the phone.
