You can carry the camera only if you are wearing a belt. The manufacturer should consider an option allowing to hang.

This camera case is very sturdy, not bulky, you can attach it to your belt and have your hands free for other things and it has a tiny compartment for spare batteries and flash card. Well worth the money.
