I'm a sony fan, especially when it comes to their camaras. I bought this model T200 for my mom for Christmas...and after a few days I returned it. Outdoor pictures are ok, however indoor pictures were mostly blurry or grany, no matter what setting I tried I got the same results.
We had the DSC-W80 and that one work perfectly..So don't get caught up for this fancy touch screen system, you won't get fancy results either. Instead get any Compact Point and Shot and you'll will get far more for your money...especially quality!

When you see some really horrible reviews about this camera; while seeing many good ones, it kind of makes you wonder. Do people really know what they are talking about and have experience with how to use digital cameras? All I can say is, I had to see for myself. This camera is a great camera compared to cameras in this class. Pretty much all cameras in this class will have a trouble sometimes to take pictures in low light situations... its not like... you will buy another brand camera and all of a sudden all pictures are a magically perfect.
If you want a great camera with modern features... this is it.
I wanted to give rating on this camera a 4 out of 5 stars.. but seeing that some people gave this camera an unjustifiably low rating, I had to compensate for that.

This is a great product for people not wanting all the bells and whistles, but would rather take good quality images straight out the box. The touchstreen is large, bright, and controls are intuitive. There are many settings that can be changed and managed if one is that way inclined, but the auto settings produce great day and night shots. 8.1mp is more than enough, and the face recognition makes for good group shots. I've had no hassles from day 1!
