 The 8525/8925 are PHONES, too June 9, 2008

Why is everyone giving this thing such glowing reviews, yet ignoring the fact that plugging this in disables the 8525/8925's usefulness as a TELEPHONE? I'm sending money to AT&T every month for the priviledge of running this device, so I'd like to be able to use it as a telephone. "You have to unplug this if you want to use it as a phone." Come on. That kind of negates its usefulness as a hands free device. If this little plug had a microphone in it (to make up for the microphone it mutes when its plugged in), it'd be a neat little device. Without it, its half-a'd.

Would give it 5 stars, but it needed to be tweaked a bit to get a consistent signal on my ATT TilT. Since I can't use bluetooth headphones in flight, this is a "must have" for travel. I was very happy with the first one until my 2 year old snapped it while removing it from the phone :-(
 Works but clunky June 2, 2008
I bought this for use with my ATT tilt. Thought I would charge the phone while I was playing music through the headphones. Didn't work out that way.
Pros:
Works as advertised and cheap.
Cons:
Can not use both the charger and the 1/8 jack at the same time with my charger.
If this device had pig tails it would get 5 stars.

I bought this adapter for my car, earbugs and plug in stereo speakers. I play music from my VX6900 through my car audio system, my earbugs and my stereo speakers at work, and this adapter also coverts my car audio and plut in stereo speakers into a speaker phone, and my earbugs into a headset. I would definitely recommend it.

What awesome sound out of the AT&T Tilt phone with this adapter.
Not very high priced either. Locally cost would be triple what I payed online.
