A lot of space September 19, 2008 Sean Caulfield (Seattle, WA) I was a bit skeptical at first due to the relatively unknown brand and some negative reviews. After I got it though I was really impressed with it. It can hold about 475 RAW images using my Rebel xsi. If I'm shooting JPEG Hi quality I can hold about 1300 images. Overall, I have a lot of space and it runs well. No problems with it so far. It has a great price as well. Do yourself a favor and buy this card so you don't have to swap cards out so often.
manufacture defect September 18, 2008 J. Ye (Shanghai and New York) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Transcent 8gb card I received was defect, and no camera or computer could find the card when I inserted it. I bought it in California and returned to work with it to Shanghai - so I have no way to sent it back.
Transcent 8 GB SDHC card September 17, 2008 A. C. Soni (Chicago) Worked like a charm as soon as put it in my camera. I am happy with the card.
Excellent SDHC Card at Unbeatable Price September 17, 2008 Red Peters (Sterling, Virginia United States) I purchased this card to use in my MP3 player (one of the Insignia models from Best Buy). Having bought into the Sandisk hype for years, I decided the substantially lower cost of the Transcend made it worth a try. It works great and the class 6 speed is very fast compared to slower cards. The lifetime warranty can't be beat. I've used it for 6 months with no issues at all. I'm so impressed that I'm buying another to upgrade the smaller 2Gb card in my wife's Nikon D40. The price on this card fluctuates, so with a little patience you can get it less than $20 (Fall 08). As others have commented, please note that this card is a high capacity (SDHC) card. It is not compatible with every SD device in existence. Do your homework before you buy to make sure your device and/or card reader works with SDHC cards. Don't assume! Bottom line: Highly recommended for devices that accept SDHC cards.
Great card at a great price! September 17, 2008 Raymond Pengelly 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this SD Class 6 card for my new Kodak 1285 camera especially for HD videos. Works great and even at 12 megapixels per picture has unbelievable number of shots. Will buy another for my new Archos media viewer.
