I gave this as a gift after looking at several of the reviews. He loves the product and I am a star.
Nice product with nice features January 28, 2008
This product is everything that it is advertised to be. The features work well and are more or less intuitive to use. We use it with the iPod Nano which works well also. In my opinion, this product is every bit as good as the other $500 clock radio that we have. Cheers to well-designed reasonably priced products.

I bought this item for my husband and he loves it. Sound quality is great. The light is adjustable from bright to dim...I read reviews where customers complained about the light being too bright. That is not true. It is a great item with great features. The only complaint we have is that you are not able to adjust the snooze time. It is permanently set at 9 minutes.

This is a very nice product that has decent sound. I think it was a great value for the money. The one small complaint is that you cannot skip songs on the console (you need the remote control). Other than that, it meets all my expectations.

After testing this out for a week, I really like this alarm clock. Contrary to the misinformation given in another review, this is completely compatible with the 3rd gen ipod nano (video), and works well with it. The only thing that doesn't work with it is the video out, which also doesn't work with the classic, because you need Apple's special cable for that. One thing that disappointed me is that once the alarm goes off, if you have selected buzzer, the ipod turns off. That is okay, but when you turn it back on, you reset the alarm. If you still want to keep hitting snooze, you have to live without music. One other annoyance I found is that the volume and search knobs don't easily turn if you have slippery fingers. If they had bumps or something, it would be much easier. I like the fact that it has a radio, and that it comes with a remote. The remote would be better if it controlled using radio waves instead of IR signals, but I guess considering the amazing price you really can't complain. Overall I was very satisfied with this product, and would recommend it to anyone with and ipod with a dock connector.
