Highly Recommended Product August 3, 2008 absolutefreaky (New York, USA) Had tried different batteries with Panasonic handset but all failed in a month or so. This one last without charging for at least a week with normal usage (less than one hour a day). Instead of buying a brand name, i recommend this product.
Keep the phone, get better batteries December 2, 2007 S. Saunders (Rocky Mountains USA) A few years ago my old Panasonic cordless phone wore out the original batteries. That's when I discovered the not-very-low cost of (nickel cadmium) replacement batterie$ at a local specialty store. I bought a new Panasonic cordless phone (this one with an extra handset) a year or so ago, and recently noticed both handsets weren't holding a charge. I went online seeking a good deal on batteries to replace the dying OEM ones, and learned about these new NiMH batteries, so I bought two of them. So far, so good. I'm glad to get name brand replacement batteries for a reasonable price, and hope the NiMH technology works as well for the phone batteries as it has in other batteries.

I almost bought a new phone because it was not working. The ability to purchase this battery saved me some bucks.

The batteries work flawlessly and have a much longer life than the Panasonic Nickel Cadmium P-P511 at a much lower price

I got so confused about the Panasonic battery issue, that I called my battery store. They said the Metal-Hydride had less of a problem with being left on the charger. He said this even though they did not have this battery in stock. He said they went through 1300 P511 batteries at their store alone because the Panasonic's will last 6months to a year. Just thought I'd pass on the info.
