Product Description Large LCD display: easy-to-read contrast adjustment & trilingual display (English Spanish French) 60-name & number memory Clock with date Delete key Review key Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included)
Amazon.com Product Description If you're tired of squinting at your phone's tiny LCD panel, treat yourself to the GE 29016S Caller ID Box. The three-line display is nearly 3 inches long, and it simultaneously provides the name, number, date, and time of the call in the order in which the calls were received. The panel can display Spanish, French, or English titles. The memory can hold up to 60 entries; simple buttons allow you to skip or delete specific calls, and with the battery-operated memory backup, you won't lose calls if there's a power outage. GE provides a one-year limited warranty on parts and service.

Caller ID Box October 29, 2008 Charles K. Daly (Howell, NJ) The only complaint that I have is that I am unable to dial out on my touchstone telephone when it is connected to the Caller ID Box. The connection is correct. I had this problem with the same model unit that I previously purchased a couple of years back and I thought it was a defect that unit that I did not catch because I did not use that telephone to dial out often. The unit works as it is suppose to, the caller's number is displayed, it is readable and it stores the number. With the inability to dial out without disconnecting the unit, I would not purchase one like it again, even at its reasonable price.
Typical GE October 1, 2008 MPM (Forked River, NJ United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
From kitchen ranges to water filters, I have generally found GE products to be among the most poorly designed available. This caller ID is no exception. One feature, or lack thereof, is most surprising. Most of these units are designed to either sit on a desk or table or hang on the wall; the consumer has a choice. This unit, however, will not hang on the wall without homemade modification. It would have been a simple matter for GE to have engineered the usual inverted keyholes in the back of this thing and include two standoff screws. It is amazing that their engineers didn't think of it while this non-engineer did. In the 50's and 60's, GE's slogan was, "Progress is our most important product." I guess now it's changed to, "Don't look for quality; we can't be bothered."
Works well August 30, 2008 RJ I have found this to work just fine. No problems reading the display in regular daylight. Nice small footprint and seems to be decently made. Nice little unit.
It works June 9, 2008 McNellus (Shreveport, LA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's small and it tells me who's calling... after I turn on a lamp so I can see the display. There are several contrast settings, but I still have to light it up to read it. Hey, for the price, it's just fine.
Yep it's a caller ID box June 4, 2008 Dorkus Malorkus (USA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
