 Does The Job August 29, 2008
This is the second Xerox 6R899 I've used in my LaserJet 4P. Number of pages printed on the first was at least as many as promised. The printer doesn't get a lot of use, and the original cartridge lasted at least 5 years with no problems. This new one worked as it should right out of the box. Xerox also includes a label for returning and recycling the spent cartridge. No muss, no fuss, called DHL and they came and picked it up off my doorstep the next business day. Why pay more?
 Very Disappointing July 22, 2008
Very disappointed with toner cartridge - all printed documents have a 4 inch wide dark grey band going down the full length of the page and did not clear up even after printing about 20-30 pages. Ended up having to reinstall my old, although nearly depleted toner cartridge in order to get clear printouts. Hopefully Xerox will honor their warranty and exchange this defective unit.

Just like the title says. If this cartridge lasts as long as the original, I won't have to
buy another cartridge for about 10 years.
