I am sure most will buy this for music, but it does a fantastic job with speech. Place between interviewer/subject. Most people have never heard speech recorded well -- blow your client away with this mic.
If you are not using balanced inputs - your recorder has a minijack or 1/4" phone jack(s) - the AT822 may be a better choice.
