5 out of 5 stars Marshmallow In Ear Headphones   October 12, 2008
S. C. Miller (Pennsylvania)
I tried over five types of in ear buds for my ipod before buying these. I could have saved myself a lot of time and effort if I had tried these first. They're comfortable, soft and the sound is great. I have small ears and most buds hurt after in my ears for over ten or fifteen minutes. Not these!! These are a bargain here at Amazon; they cost over fifteen dollars anywhere else. You can't go wrong trying them.

4 out of 5 stars When modded, outshines anything I've used.   September 30, 2008

I'm no audiophile, but these little guys sound great. However with a little modding (Kramer Mod), they will beat out most things around their price range. Seriously guys, 10 bucks for headphones is not a lot. Plus, the color s cool too.

Pros:
Sounds great
Wires never tangle
Looks discrete and cool
Adjustable wire
Very Bassy
Sound Isolation

Cons:
Uncomfortable when used for long periods of time
Whenever you eat something, or something touches the wire, you will hear an annoying noise. Oh well.
Foam tips get a little disgusting at time (You may find some earwax if your one of those people who don't clean your ears too often).

Note: Try breathing over the foam tips so that they get mushy. Then shove the marshmallows ALL THE WAY IN. This should give you the best sound possible.

Just buy them.

2 out of 5 stars Very comfortable but.....   September 30, 2008
John Doe (Atlanta, GA)
These headphones are very comfortable, they almost feel like nothing is in your ear. The only problem is they sound horrible. There is no bass at all. It sounds like someone took a speaker out of one of my two year old's toys and stuck it in an earbud. I still use them but if you are looking for quality sound, look at something else or a newer model. I did notice the model number of mine isn't the same as the ones being sold in department stores. Maybe that's why I got mine for the price I did.

4 out of 5 stars Fantastic sound isolation   September 28, 2008
Das Pen Name (Dublin, Ireland)
I have to say that for the cost these are a pleasant surprise.

Pros (apart from the price of course)
* Isolate sound quite well, could compete with pricier models. Have used this on the metro, in aeroplanes, blocking out husband's horribly tasteless 70s disco cds and on busy streets with traffic racing by, and while it doesn't block all sound it does a very decent job of getting rid of enough noise to allow you to fade away and enjoy your music.
* THEY STAY IN MY EAR!! My expensive Sony noise cancelling earphones have been rendered useless as the buds won't stay in my ears - and this is when standing still. With the JVC I could tap dance and they'd still be there
* Chord doesn't get tangled
* Nice colour...

Cons:
* The sound is only so-so, as can be expected from earphones in this price range.
* The chord came off the earbud after 6 months. This could be my own fault however, as I've been pretty careless with it.

On the whole, don't expect to be wowed by the sound; I mainly listen to classical music and the earphones don't do justice to the nuances in the music. However, if you're looking for sound isolation for a ridiculously good price and aren't too fussed about the sound you really cannot go wrong with a pair of these, even if only as a spare pair. I'll definitely purchase one again as an extra pair.

Oh, and did I mention they come in very cute colours?
