No problems with cracking band or non-pairing w/this Great Sounding Headset. I use it regularly to listen to music from my Laptop PC, iRiver CD players and iRiver MP3 player. Sound quality is crisp & wonderful; treble & bass are clear even at higher volumes. Headset is lightweight, doesn't feel like it wants to drag ur ears down to the floor - quite the opposite! I wear mine for hours without discomfort of any kind (and I have sensitive ears w/other headphones that are simply too heavy or dont fit my ear properly.)
Additionally, its EasyPeasy to pair the headset with the little adaptor, which just plugs into ANY headphone port (be it on your TV, Handheld TV, Ghetto Blaster Boombox, CD Player, MP3 Player, Alarm Clock, DVD Players, etc.) GREAT VERSATILITY unlike many bluetooth/wireless products I've been disappointed w/in the past.
Overall, I rate this Logitech Headset EXCELLENT w/4 Stars as I've experienced NO problems with it over the past 5 months I've owned it. AMAZING & GREAT price here on Amazon, so Don't Hesitate to take advantage of that nice little perk. For the $$ you can't beat it!
I cannot speak to the previous reviewers iPod compatibility issues as I don't own an iPod. My MP3 player is iRiver & this headset works with it Beautifully.
Summary: The light weight hours-long cushy comfort, groovey rich sound, easy plug n play operation (no software required!) and Ridiculous Low Price for this Bluetooth Wireless Headset just CAN'T be beat!

Great sound but quality of headband is terrible....I had a pair for 2 months, then the headband cracked...they sent me a replacement, and headband cracked again within a week (under normal use). Logitech then sent me a check as they said the design of product was faulty.

I received a pair of these headphones as a gift, thankfully. They were the model in black, not the white "Ipod" model here, but the same product none the less. After about two months of use I started to have problems where the headset would stop communicating with the transmitter. A few weeks later I noticed that the headband started to crack. Eventually, the unit stopped working altogether once the headband cracked enough to sever the wire inside.

There is no mention on the product about which ipods this is compatable.
We have multiple levels of ipods at home.
The adapter only fits certain generations of ipods. So it was useless on our current video ipod or nano.
It did fit on our 2nd generaton ipod that is non-functional. I think it is horrible that there was not a clear mention of compatability. So now I have to return it.

When I ordered these headphones I knew there was a defect in them. So the first thing I did when I receive them was reinforced the band with electrical tape. I throw these things around all the time. I've never had a problem with them
its a little uncomfortable around the ears after extended use
