The Jensen JHH110 headphones sound better than any other headphones I have owned in the under $20 category. The main reason I bought these is the long cord (about 6 feet), the single cord attached to the headphones, and the volume control on the cord. With these features and a headphone extension I am able to sit accross the room and turn it up when a great song comes on,(or the wife starts nagging :-) or mute it if I need to.
