This cable does what it is supposed to - solve the problem that machine and monitor is far apart. I use it during installation and troubleshooting on servers and embedded systems.
Typically I run it at low resolutions and video quality is perfect. I have not run it at higher resolutions, but the cable seems to be of good quality and I expect it will do reasonably well. However if you run it at higher resolution, don't expect the same quality as you would get with a very short cable.
