My daughter thought these were great when she got them for Christmas. Now it's mid March and she's not so crazy about them any more. One ear went out a couple weeks ago and now the other ear is dead. I know that ear-buds are fragile but having to buy them every three months seems a bit excessive. Pitty.

These headphones are the best you can get for the price. The sound quality is very good, though a little bass heavy. I've always been a fan of the in-ear isolating headphones because you can use them in loud environments without blasting your hearing away. A recent event inspired me to write this review. I left my iPod shuffle and headphones in my work pants when I washed them. After letting both dry for a few days, the headphones worked perfectly, though the shuffle is dead. I was very impressed that they survived being totally immersed in soapy water for an hour. I've had the skullcandys for a year or two and had no problems. The only way to get better headphones is to spend $80+ on some etymotics.
