Product Description Ink adds permanence. It forces the visual representation of an idea, concept, ideal or experience, and tangibly commemorates it. Like a tattoo, graffiti, or stretch marks. Until you're really ready to commit, go with the INK'D ear buds. Big sound, little price, no visible scarring!

Best for the price March 15, 2010 Abbos K. Rustamov (BATESVILLE, IN, US) I bought them for $35 a year and a half ago and I was really surprised by the sound quality, but recently they stoped working after so much abuse :) I can now confidently say money well spent :) I listen only to high quality music something in lossless or dual channel 320 kbps mp3's or AAC+ formats. These have really good bass response it does not overpower mids yet fills the music with warm and rich bass, mids could be more clearer but I would expect it only from higher end buds. Highs are crisp and clear. The fit is good after you get used to them. Now I have Maximo iM 590's which have better sound but they cost more also. These are good for those who don't want to spend a lot on buds yet want a decent sound. Compared to V-moda Bass Freq's they are much better and have much clear sound. If you like bass which is powerful enough and fills you music then look no further.
uncomfortable, brittle March 13, 2010 Ashlie A. Berry (Melvindale, MI USA) A part of me really wants to like SkullCandy for having headphones/earbuds that have high quality sound, which it does. However, SkullCandy comes up short in regards to comfort and durability.
In regards to comfort, I've had trouble with these earphones since day one. It was damn near impossible keeping them in for more than an hour. This is a failure in design.
I guess I can consider myself one of the lucky ones, that mine didn't short out within a month or less. These earbuds lasted me a whopping 6 months until tonight, my left earbuds sound went out. These earbuds were handled gently and casually.
I would chalk it up to just being unlucky and receiving a defective set if I hadn't gone through the same situation with a previous pair of skullcandy earbuds and had seen all these reviews with similar stories. I think SkullCandy needs to up their quality standards quite a bit.
Worst quality in the world. Went through six headsets. March 13, 2010 Kv (SLC, Utah) I am finally going to close the book on the worst set of headphones in the history of man. When they are working they are ok but they are broken most of the time. I have gone through about 6 of these things. The issues I have had are most frequently is a speaker going out (4 times) and twice I received a package with a broken headset right out of the box.
I know some may say that I must have used them incorrectly but this is not true I always made sure not to wrap them (per their instructions) and this would not make a difference for the broken out of the box ones I received. I would avoid all skull candy products.
This last time they broke (yet again) I sent them back under warranty and they have not sent me a new pair and honestly I am not too dissapointed. good riddance!
Generally good, but... March 11, 2010 Lori Pederson (Minnesota) I ordered these from Amazon in December 2009 and had no problems in that transaction. Amazon, as always, is great!
They worked great up until Feb 2010, when my daughter informed me that one of the earbuds stopped working. There had been no damage to them, they looked like new still. I went to [...] and started an RMA with them. I got a quick reply and sent the earbuds back to them. They replied via email 3 days later. In a about a week they sent me back a new pair. I would say that's good customer service, and I hope the new ones last much longer. If the second pair stops working in a short amount of time....I don't think I'll be buying any more skullcandy brand earbuds.
Good sound, but very faulty wiring. March 11, 2010 Jessy Ross (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just a word of warning, despite them having good fit and noise cancellation, they have a very short lifespan.
I started buying these 3 years ago...and between summer of 2008 and March 2010 have gone through 7 pairs. They are small, light and fit wonderfully, but are not meant for any use other than sitting in one position, never being put away or taken out.
I use them for on the bus and running, nothing too strenuous and have been extremely nice with my last 2 pairs, not running with them...but almost like clockwork, within 6 weeks of going in and out of my pocket (no wouding around my pod or anything)...the wiring will short from one ear, and within 2 days will short from both. Out of 5 pairs (and warranty replacements) Ive spent about 110...your almost better off getting a good pair of headphones and saving yourself the grief. They are relatively cheap...but honestly, Ive had 3 dollar airplane buds that have lasted longer than these...and it's sad because the fit and sound is great.
Hopefully others have better luck...but after trying 7 pairs and all having the exact same issue..I doubt all could be from faulty batches.
