Practical Solution for CD Collectors June 13, 2003 Heidi M. Hawkins (Bellingham, WA: City of Subdued Excitement) 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
I have a large collection of cd's, and have found these sleeves to be invaluable. Sleeves take much less space than jewel boxes, and also are much lighter- very practical if you DJ, move frequently, live in a small space, have a very large cd collection, or otherwise like to move or store your cd's or dvd's with ease. Case Logic prosleeves are designed to hold a cd on one side, and the cd booklet or another cd on the other side. The 100 pack can be misleading, because if you want to store the booklet with the cd, you can only store 50. If you store 2 cd's per sleeve, then you can store 100 with the 100 pack. They are not designed to hold the liner notes that come with the cd on the back of the cd case-one drawback of vinyl sleeves. I have not found a cd sleeve that is designed to hold the liner notes from the back. The top of the sleeve holds a label of the artist and title, or what ever you like to put on the label. You can tear one end off the back liner that comes with the cd to make a perfect label, or you can make your own with the pre-cut labels provided. Another advantage to these sleeves is they don't break. Jewel boxes are designed to break when you drop them, and they do. These sleeves are light, and when I have dropped them with a cd in them, they don't fall hard. I have never broken or otherwise damaged a cd that was in a sleeve, though of course it is possible. It is also important to know that these sleeves are a little bit wider than jewel boxes, so they don't usually fit in the same storage units as jewel boxes.
Much better than jewel cases! March 27, 2003 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love these sleeves! They're easier to store and take up less space than jewel cases, without being prone to the fragility of the latter. Cheaper, too!
Good, if you have the case needed. April 22, 2001 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
Not a lot to say. If you have the case, you're gonna need refils. And, here's a lot. Granted u need a lot of cds, but, hey, u might have em.
