this unit works very well and i like the fact that you can test many differant size batterys

This is one handy tool. Takes the mystery out of whether or not you are using charged batteries or not. As an on-site recording engineer I need to know how much juice is left in the batteries - this will tell me how much recording time is left in the mics. Allows me to use the mics all the way down to the "nub".
