Better Than Headphones 6 Times Their Price. December 3, 2008 Eric Prandovszky (Toronto, ON) Well I am quite impressed with these little ear cans. First of all they beat all projections. Included is a 2 meter extension cable, and 1 watt power handling capability. I started my headphone Quest with the Beats by Dr. Dre. These sound wonderful, except when you are on the move & they did not sound 10x$$ better than the Panasonic's. The RP-HTX7 offer an alternative to the Bose around-ear, especially for people who don't believe Bose is worth the Bose price. Also they are better looking. Noise isolation is superb with these phones and beat many "Active" type noise canceling phones. They easily beat the Sony MDR-NC60 Which I tested at my local Best Buy & left them on the shelf. And for me they even beat out the Shure SE210 because I don't have huge ear canals to sit the foam earpieces in. Tones are a bit flat compared to the AKG K272 HD, However much more comfortable & for the increase in price. Not worth it. I am very Pleased with these.
Top quality November 25, 2008 Yongbo Jiang (New York) The frequency response is 7Hz-22kHz, only few headphones can go that low. Turn off the EQ on the MP3 player, Zune doesn't have one which is great, and make sure the MP3 files are ripped at 192kbps or 320kbps from the CD. Here is a good example for testing, A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion: A New Day Has Come WARNING: This headphone is not for outdoor use unless you are castaway. :) The "cheap" Sony MDR-J10 h.Ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Blue) is designed for that.
Great Bass! November 19, 2008 Jim Matherly (Fairbanks, Alaska) These headphones are solid, tough, retro and have great bass sound. The only gripe was the length of the cord...but I extended it. Great price, too!
Great Headphones and cool style November 16, 2008 August A. Ursin (Tallahassee, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These headphones sound great and look cool too. I mostly listed to my podcast whilst doing the dished and other chores around the house. These headphones, despite not being sound canceling, do cutout a lot of the running water sounds when I am doing the dishes. With my glasses, it is hard to find headphones that feel comfy on my head, but these fit great. A great set of headphones IMHO.
Very good headphones November 9, 2008 Dale (Michigan) These headphones give out very nice sound. It has about a 4 foot straight cord, which I prefer over a coiled one. I use a short extended cord with a volume control and it is perfect for my use.
