I've had many cables, most of which only last a couple days, the best out of all the others only lasted a week. But this cable lasted me at least 6 months before wearing out. This is the best cable around. I use my cable to connect my nano to my portable headphone amp (if you're looking for a good headphone amp, and need to keep spending down go to [...], Gary will take care of you) and there is a lot of flexing of the cable while it's in my pocket and I'm throwing freight. This cable is the best, plus it comes with a lifetime warrantee so all you have to do is clean the cable, and send it back to Monster, and they'll send you a new one, free. I use it 7-9 hours a day, five days a week. Don't pass this one up.

This cable works great with my Iphone in my new Suburban. Haven't had any trouble. Would def. recommend this cable. Just wish it came in black.

Like most Monster products, this one, I feel, is quite overpriced.
The quality is good but not good enough compared to other regular cables to warrant the price. There really isn't anything special or proprietary about this iCable, it is just a 3ft cable that has a regular 3mm headphone jack at both ends. The reason it's branded and marketed for the iPhone is because the jack itself is very skinny in order to accomodate the iPhone design.
If you want to save yourself some money, look elsewhere.

with a product like this it either works or it doesn't. Mine works just fine. The nice thing about this particular model is that it works with the iphone and it is only 3 feet long. Who needs a 6 foot cable to reach the front seat passengers of a car or truck?
