Product Description
This is the ideal microphone for sound reinforcement applications where the microphone needs to have a tight pick-up pattern, but cannot be placed close to the source. Shotgun microphones are most commonly used on sound-stages, for stage plays, for broadcast or for electronic newsgathering. This supercardioid shotgun mic will run on either phantom or battery power. The Apex175 is shipped with a pistol grip mic clip, and a foam windsock and is ideal for any application where a great performing, yet lightweight (392g) shotgun mic is required.

This thing worked great..while it worked. My buddy went through 2, and I stopped at 1. they die after about 2 - 3 months. Spend atleast $150 on an audio-technica or swing for a seenhieser if you can.
