Product Description The new 4X- recording rate will quickly record favorite audio, video or data files to the amazing 8.5GB of storage capacity the dual-layer disc offers. The dual-layer disc has enough storage space for up to four hours of DVD-quality video, 16 hours of VHS-quality video, or over 120 hours of MP3 audio.

No luck with this product November 22, 2006 Erik Uner (Sheboygan, WI USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am unable to use these discs in my DVD writer. I have an NEC DVD RW ND-3550A. And yes that drive supports this format - both DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL. I've never used this brand of DVD media before and won't again. I'd recommend staying with Verbatim or Philips media.
People...........check your writer before complaining! August 31, 2006 Richard J. Scales (montevallo, alabama United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
One previous review of these discs state that "theyre a piece of junk, my writer wouldnt read them" blah blah well, listen.......CHECK THE FORMATS OF YOUR WRITER!!! DVD-DL were introduced much later than DVD+DL , even if a writer claims to write +/-r you need to check that it can write on -DL!! discs worked great, much cleaner burns that most +DL media (except the fabolous verbatim +DL discs) good price, recommended!! but CHECK YOUR DRIVE BEFORE PURCHASING!! --- (dont just complain afterwards)
DVD-R March 23, 2006 Steven E. Hendrix (Gilbert, AZ USA) 8 out of 15 found this review helpful
I couldn't even use these pieces of junk. I have DVD +/- burner and have burned both the '+' and the '-' DVD formats. But for some reason, my DVD-ROM would not even recognize these discs. They recognize Dual Layer discs with the '+' format, but not these. A rather expensive way to find this out.
