For the price the battery is a good backup for Canon made battery. Would buy this battery again.

I used two of these batteries to supplement my original Canon battery on a two week camping trip. I charged them properly before using them and they are indistinguishable, if not better, than the original Canon battery.
Reading some of the reviews it seems that about 1/4 of the users are pretty unhappy with this product. Assuming that they do everything right it may be that the production standards are not all that high, and one in four batteries is defective. Given the low price I think even then it's still a good deal: buy three of them, check them out, send them back if they don't work. At the time I bought my batteries that would have still saved me about twenty bucks, including the postage to ship the bad ones back.

After charging this battery and using it I found that the battery that came with the camera lasted much longer. This could be a fluke but I am not too pleased with its performance.

This product was cross merchandised with the Canon SD750, which I own, so I bought an extra battery for my camera. It doesn't fit in it, so I had to return it.

Bought this along with the SD 750 and it works as well as the battery that the camera came with. Holds a great charge. Great price too!!
