This bag is a lifesaver, it holds all your stuff and even extra stuff you might think you need. It does get heavy but that's because I have it so loaded down. It is very good to have in your vehicle then transfer your stuff to a smaller unit when taking photos.

The backpack is attractive, with ample pockets, straps, and netting to handle a variety of light gear on photo expeditions. But, the backpack structure is softer, daresay flimsier, than desired. With heavy L lenses and SLR bodies, the pack is clumsy when opened, especially on uneven surfaces like a trailside rock. I bought this for hiking to photo locations, but returned it, wanting something that can offer more protection. For light gear, it is nice, but it isn't designed for larger, professional-grade equipment.

Looked hi & lo for a camera bag thats easy to use and doesn't look like a camera bag. This works nicely. Dividers move easily and has a nice variety of pockets. I really like the tripod straps, something that if you didn't have that capacity before, you knew you really needed. My old bag didn't have such so I'd carry the camera bag AND the tripod. Not cool if you're shooting on the fly.
I read with concern about the zippers accidently opening but have found that if you just loop the zipper pulls thru each other a time or two its quite secure. I do need to pay close attention to whether or not I've left the main compartment unzipped as not to dump everything, something I'm not used to. I'd also like an quicker, easier way to attach a water bottle. Thats about it.

I was so supprised when it arrived. The bag is too good for that price.
It has protected pads on all sides, bottom and top.
Strong built materials with water resist coating.
And its alot smaller than my school bag but has room for all my camera gears. Plus a very nice metalic Canon logo.
I should have bought it right in the first time...!

This bag is an excellent value, especially for the price. It is very well made of durable material, and the zippers also seem (so far) to be able to hold-up to the constant zipping/un-zipping...It has PLENTY of pockets and compartments for your lenses, miscellaneous gear, manuals and it even holds your tripod on the bottom of the backpack.
The only disappointment to me, is the compartment for notebook storage is not large enough to hold my 15" MacBook Pro. Bummer, but....it's not that big of a deal.
