The device works fine, charges my Inspiron laptop (or my mother's XPS) without a problem. I wish it were sturdier, though. I'd be willing to put up with extra weight if I didn't have to worry about it breaking. The same goes for the laptop computers themselves...

As other have said, it arrived much faster than expected and works just like it should. Its smaller than my old power adapter and charges the laptop faster. No complaints at all. It does appear to be Dell OEM which is nice as well.

Adapter works great (despite getting pretty hot) and looks awesome (blue light on computer plug). I needed it fast so I payed $13 or something for expedited shipping and it arrived 7 days from when I ordered it. I was pretty angry, however I was contacted by the seller (even though I hadn't complained directly to them) and they are refunding me $8 for the abnormal delay in the shipping process. I have great respect for this seller now especially compared to other sellers online.

Prices at Dell for this are 2x as much as advertised here and truly, its the exact same charger. I don't know how the seller gets this stuff but the chargers work really well and I recommend this product.

ordered this product on monday and recieved it thursday- much quicker than expected with no extra shipping charge. everything works so far- it fits snuggly with, and is charging, my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. The unit is very slim and i like that it lights up when plugged in. The equipment appears to be an authentic Dell item, unlike others sold on amazon. I've only had it a day so i can not speak to how long it will be lasting but all in all i would recommend this product. One draw back is that the cord is on the shorter side and the way the plug coming from the wall to the adapter unit is oddly designed so as to shorten the length even more- but this doesn't really concern me as i mostly leave my computer in one spot near the wall plug and the product does not advertise itself to have an extra long cord.
