It fit. It charged. It has a charge indicator on the bottom just like the Dell OEM battery. So far so good. This battery feels significantly lighter than the original Dell battery, which may end up translating in to less capacity, but given the amount of money saved, I could buy 2 Lenmar batteries and still be cheaper than buying one Dell OEM battery.

I have been using the battery for a little over a month now and I am generaly happy with the results. The power lasts at least as long as the OEM Dell battery did when it was new and it appears to be working just fine.
One little glitch is the computer always thinks the battery is 99% charged and continues to try and charge. The manufacturer assures me this is acceptable, but I will continue to watch. For the price (less than 1/3 the Dell battery) and the fact that Dell does not have any in stock I feel I got my value out of this battery

The battery holds a good charge and lasts about 4.5 hours of general use. Heavy use is 2 hours or less. My only complaint is that it does no fit snug in the slot. This has not caused a problem so far.
